Network Stadium is the largest member of Network Housing Group, a 17,000 home London-based housing association. In 2011 it introduced a new neighbourhood management strategy and research had shown that news and information was too focused on one area of London. As part of a restructuring Network Stadium wanted to re-launch its residents’ magazine and provide more local news and information supported by association wide information.View latest issue »
Campbell Marsh proposed a complete overhaul of the Network Stadium residents’ magazine by adopting a new editorial policy, a new look and a new name. Feedback had shown that residents felt the existing newsletter didn’t tell them what was happening in their own neighbourhood and Network Stadium wanted us to help tackle the problem.
Our answer was Neighbourhood Life – a colourful and vibrant magazine published in four different area versions to give a genuinely local view in each of Network Stadium’s communities.
Working alongside the Network Stadium community engagement and investment team, we research, write, design, produce and mail Neighbourhood Life to 9,000 homes. The magazine is packed with interesting news and features, including exclusive interviews with local personalities that have so far included MPs and Olympic athletes with local roots.
The magazine’s reach has now grown to include a fifth area version for east London, and in its first year of publication has proved very popular with residents and Network Stadium alike – so much so that the format has been adopted by one of Network Stadium’s group stable mates for its own magazine!
