Riversmead Housing Association, a member of Network Housing Group, owns and manages more than 4,300 homes across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire and through continual planned growth and development this will increase by 500 homes over the next five years. Riversmead asked Campbell Marsh to devise its 2013 annual report to tenants in an engaging style, consistent with previous versions.
Riversmead worked closely with Campbell Marsh to take on the task of designing its latest annual report, to be sent out to tenants as part of an integrated communications asset alongside the autumn issue of Riversmead LIFE magazine.
The team at Riversmead was happy with the icon-led style we had developed for them in previous years and chose to stay with an evolution of that theme for the 2013 publication.
Working closely with Riversmead, we developed new elements in this year’s report, including pictures of staff members with speech bubbles containing snippets of useful information to cut down on long paragraphs. This made the pages more inviting and lively and the information easier to read. The 2013 annual report also featured ‘What the Scrutiny Panel said’, explaining service improvement recommendations the tenant-led group had made and how Riversmead is responding.
Tenants received their copies of the annual report along with their magazine during the last week of September, with the first few directly delivered hot off the press in time for Riversmead’s AGM. The new publication went down very well at Riversmead, who emailed us to say: “The magazines have arrived and look brilliant. Thank you as always for pulling out all the stops and ensuring that they were delivered in time.”
