Kensington & Chelsea residents 'Get on Board'
Cambell Marsh’s innovative resident engagement campaign for Kensington & Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation’s (TMO) resident involvement campaign has been hailed as the social landlords most successful engagement campaign.
When launched in 2011 it aimed to encourage as many residents as possible to come along to the events and participate in the governance of the TMO. Campbell Marsh created a themed campaign based around the strapline ‘Get on board’ and the iconic Routemaster London bus.
Work included writing, designing and producing a series of information and promotional items which included leaflets, posters, invitations, billboards, balloons, display banners and even a bus stop welcoming residents to ‘Get on board’ events so that they could help to shape housing services.
The innovative designs incorporated a timeline based on the layout of the London Underground map to make it easy for residents to identify how they can get involved.
The campaign encouraged 10 per cent of residents to attend events, enquiries to join governance committees rise to more than 250 and as a bonus the ‘Get on board’ campaign also helped to encourage greater cross working among TMO staff.
